The Plugable Bluetooth adapter can experience a variety of issues when used on systems that are part of a managed network.
Generally in Windows 10 on managed networks, if the adapter is used with the drivers that are distributed automatically via Windows Update, the adapter should work with most devices without any additional complexity. However, if features of the Broadcom WIDCOMM software are needed, the WIDCOMM software will silently fail installation with default Group Policy settings on managed systems. There is also a variety of security software that can cause silent install failures of the WIDCOMM software. This is part of why we do not recommend using the adapter on employer-provided computers.
