I recently bought a SAMSUNG UHD TV NU7100 40" to use with my Lenovo Thinkpad T470 laptop.
Using the HDMI port directly the image quality is excellent. However it doesn’t support HDMI 2.0 so I couldn’t get 60hz.
I bought your USBC-HDMI adapter, as the USB-C port on the laptop supports 60Hz. I can see now that the TV is operating at 60hz, but the image quality is very bad.
The best way I can describe it is: it looks as if I had increased the brightness, contrast and sharpness to the maximum, there are weird shadows on boxes, and text is blurry around the edges.
I am attaching two photos I took of the same element where you can see the difference.
I will send via email the output of the PlugDebug app as well.
