usb 3.0 4k dock connected via usb-c to Huawei Matebook x pro laptop and the laptop is not charging and the audio is playing from laptop rather than speakers connected to dock.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us, I am sorry to hear that you are running into this issue, but I would be more than happy to assist!
Our USB 3.0 UD-6950 docking station does not provide Power Delivery or charge the connected host system. USB 3.0 does not have this ability, and only USB-C 3.1 gen 1 and 2 docking stations support this feature.
In regards to the audio issue, you may need to ensure that the audio device selected is the docking station, and not the “Speakers (Realtek)” audio device. If this is not selected, then the audio will always output via the internal speakers, and not the ones connected to the dock.
Would it be possible to double check this, and then let me know if the same issue occurs?
