ASmedia 1053e firmware upgrade questions

Hello,

I used the ASmedia MP Tool software to update the firmware on my 1053e-equipped dock, and I noticed there are some options that can be toggled on or off. Specifically, what do the “2TB”, “Two LED”, “Customized Strings” and “HDD Standby” options do, and how should they be configured?

Hello Nick,

We do not recommend changing any settings. The default settings should work fine for our docking stations.

If you have a different non Plugable dock I can’t say for sure.
