Are plugable power bricks universally compatible?

The only place I can find this model is in the US:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B076HXWR9M/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A3HIHADV23VGU1&psc=1

I want to know if the power brick that comes with this model is universal, in that all I will need to use it here in New Zealand is an adaptor, or whether it will also need a voltage converter?

Many thanks in advance

Jack

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us, I am happy to help answer your question!

This docking station’s included power adapter supports 100-240V at 50/60Hz, it is compatible with power in AUS and NZ. The removable power cable is U.S. Type A to IEC60320C5 ( sometimes called a “mickey mouse” or “clover leaf” connector ) and will need to be replaced with a locally sourced power cable.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions, or if there is anything else I can do to help, and have a great day!

Thanks Pat,

So just to confirm, the brick itself is fine as is, I just need the plug itself which is a Type I to IEC60320C5?

Thanks again

J

Hi,

Yes, the power adapter itself is compatible with the regional power specifications, all you will need is a power cable to connect from your local power socket to the docking station’s power adapter. Searching online that would appear to be the Type I ( capitol ‘i’ ) plug to IEC60320C5 power cable ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEC_60320 ).

Please let me know if you have any additional questions, and have a great day!
