Apple TV running XBMC. Bluetooth adapter not seen?

Hello
I have 1st gen Apple tv running xbmc. Can I stream music to it via the plugable Bluetooth USB adapter?
I have plugged it in to the USB slot on atv. Under “settings” and “bluetooth” it says No Bluetooth adapter found.

Are you running the original Apple TV OS or have you installed a Linux-based OS?

Thank you for the link.

Unfortunately, that version of XBMC will not work with our adapter to stream music because it is based on OpenElec which does not support streaming music over Bluetooth. I think it also is not seeing the adapter because it doesn’t include the necessary driver for it.

If you are still within 30 days of purchase, I recommend taking advantage of Amazon’s 30-day return policy, since the adapter won’t work for you.
