anniversary update

After involuntarily updating Windows 10 with the anniversay pack, I am being told that the display settings are not supported and I can’t duplicate the display on my laptop onto my external monitor. Any assistance would be appreciated.

For me after my Windows 10 Anniversary update, I was also getting a warning about the drive. But after a reboot, the display drive began working normally with no other warnings. You might want to try removing and reinstalling the displayport driver.

Hi Seth,

Thanks for posting!

Based on your description of no longer being able to Duplicate the screen (but still being able to Extend) after the Anniversary Update to Windows has applied, it sounds like you are running into an issue DisplayLink (the maker of the chip in your dock and author of the driver) speaks to here -> http://support.displaylink.com/knowle…

I also wrote blog post about the Anniversary Update and how it changes things here if you are curious -> http://plugable.com/2016/08/01/window…

To help confirm that is the case here or if there is any possibility of a potential workaround, please send the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug –> http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug to support@plugable.com with ‘For Ticket 155054’ in the subject line as this will allow us to match everything up and examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.

Thank you in advance for your patience,

Bob
