Anker Powerconf S3 and Plugable dock UD-6950PDH

I want to plug an Anker Powerconf S3 (speakerphone) into my Plugable dock. I get an error saying that the device is pulling too much power. Has anyone successfully used this speakerphone with their Plugable dock before?

The only way to power the Powerconf S3 is through its USB-C port, which is also the only way to make a wired audio connection with it. (It does have Bluetooth but I want a stable wired connection.) When plugged directly my laptop’s USB 3.0 port, and it works as expected: audio and mic work, and the speakerphone charges its battery. But it defeats the point of having a dock if I can’t plug all my auxiliary devices into it.

Any guidance on this would be helpful.

Hi Samuel,

Thank you for contacting Plugable! I am sorry to hear that your UD-6950PDH docking station is not functioning as expected, and would be happy to provide additional support.

To help diagnose the issue, may I ask you to please keep the device connected to your laptop and everything still attached (even if not working as expected) and send us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug? → https://plugable.com/pages/plugdebug

Once you have the logs, simply send an email to support@plugable.com with the subject line of “Ticket 422428” so that we can prioritize that case and match it to this inquiry.

If you could provide your Amazon Order ID (or other proof of purchase) associated with your Plugable device, I would be happy to check on your warranty status as well.

Thank you for giving us the chance to help!
