Adding a usb hub to Plugable usb2-switch2

I can’t seem to get a powered or unpowered usb hub to work on my Plugable usb2-switch2 on windows xp sp3.

Thanks for contacting Plugable. I’m sorry to hear that you’re not having a plug-and-play experience with the switch. I need to ask some questions to get a better picture of what’s going on.

  1. When you say you can’t get this to work on Windows XP SP3, is that the OS on just one or both of the computers connected to the switch?

  2. If it’s just one, does that mean that the other computer connected to the switch does work with the devices on the hub?

  3. What devices are attached to the hub?

  4. Do these devices work when directly connected to the Windows XP SP3 computer?
