6 ADDITIONAL?

According to the introduction, I could have 6 monitors with usb to vga adaptor, so if I have a multiple-head graphics card, does that mean that I can have 6 + monitors available?

Thanks for asking. Yes, that’s right – On Windows, you can have 6 USB displays, plus 1 or 2 more on your main GPU, for a total of up to 8. You can’t have more than two outside USB, as PCIe GPU’s typically support 1 or 2 displays, and DisplayLink warns against using multiple (PCIe) adapters (see here for more: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ti…).

On Mac the limit is 4 USB (rather than 6 on Windows).
