If I purchase Plugable USB 3.0 4K HDMI Adapter for Multiple Monitors and plug it into one or the USB 3.0 ports on the UD-3900 will it support a 4K TV display? I currently have a Surface Book 2 that is connected to the UD-3900 that outputs to two 25" monitors displaying at 1920x1080 through DVI and HDMI. I want to add the 4K Tv.

You don’t mention the model of the 4K TV, but I would expect our adapter to work to support a 3840x2160@30Hz resolution on the 4K display when the adapter is connected to a USB 3.0 port on the UD-3900 dock.
