USB3-HUB7-81X-EU S/N:1091002302079 purchased from Amazon 15/12/2014.
Last week my external hard drive was not detected, so I plugged it into the PC directly and it worked fine. Today I have done some tests on the 7-Port HUB and I have found that Ports 01,02,03 & 04 have stopped working, yet 05, 06 & 07 work (although there may be an intermittent problem with 06).
Is there anything I can try or do I require a new HUB?
Sorry to hear about this issue. Here’s a snippet from our FAQ/Troubleshooting on the product page:
“Q: Ports 1-4 have stopped working. Ports 5-7 work fine.
A: Fully unplug the hub from all devices, power, and USB cable to the host computer. Then reconnect the power cable first, USB host cable next, and USB devices last. If that does not resolve the issue, please contact our support.”
So if that doesn’t help let me know!
Thank you, but the fault still exists after following your suggestion of disconnecting everything and reconnecting in the order you suggested.
