3840x1200(WQUXGA) output by USB 3.1 TYPE-C TO DISPLAYPORT ADAPTER CABLE

I’m going to buy this product. http://plugable.com/products/usbc-dp/
Is it possible to output 3840x1200 with this product?

Hi Ken,

Thanks for asking! This will likely work as you intend. (As long as the intended resolution/mode is at or below that maximum that the USBC-DP and the source PC are capable of, it should work properly.)

Thanks!
Gary

Thank you for your reply.

So, you means this product has compatibility to DisplayPort ver 1.3 or hight, doesn’t it?

Hi Ken,

This cable is DisplayPort v1.2 with HBR2, supporting a single display at up to 4K@60Hz. (DP 1.3 will eventually have enough bandwidth for 2x 4K60 displays.)

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks!
now, all clear.
