Hi, how does the 30 Hz refresh rate of the USB 3.0 to DisplayPort 4K UHD Adaptor appear on a 4K 40 inch monitor? Is it possible it will induce headaches?
Hello,
Thanks for posting.
LCD displays running at lower refresh rates are much less likely to cause headaches than older CRT monitors.
And though we haven’t had any customer reports of headaches from running at 30Hz refresh, it’s certainly a possibility for a user who is sensitive to it.
(Personally, I get headaches from eye strain when things are running at super small 4K resolution, whereas a lower resolution with the same 30Hz refresh on the same display does not give me headaches. So again, the response can vary quite a bit from person to person.)
Thanks,
Gary
