Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for any trouble, and I’d be glad to help you. Is this our USB 2.0, or USB 3.0 extension cable? Just so I am clear, you have both extension cables daisy chained into one another with the mouse at the end?
With respect, we don’t test for these types of devices and can’t guarantee what the outcome will be. I do also need to mention that we suggest against daisy chaining the cables together as that can lead to signal degradation as it will typically affect functionality. I’d like to ask a few other quick questions if we could:
Does the mouse operate on it’s own when connected directly to the unit?
Does the mouse operate when connected to the unit with just one extension cable?
If the mouse operates normally when connected to the unit with just one extension cable, then the issue would point to the daisy chain. We do make a solid 10M cable in USB 2.0 and 3.0. I look forward to hearing back from you!
Thanks for the reply. With respect, the product in that description is not an extension cable that we make. Instead, it seems to be made by a company called World of Data. I found what seems to be a link for the cable itself: World of Data 15m USB 2.0 Active Repeater Extension Cable - Male to Female. You’ll need to reach out to the actual manufacturer directly for support. May I ask how you found our support and message board? Did any documentation from the manufacturer lead you here? I am confident that the manufacturer will be able to help you.
