2 out of 4 monitors working at home

Hello. I have a Plagable at work where I have 4 monitors set up for my Surface Pro. I tried to duplicate the same ting at home, but usually my home setup only has 2 of the 4 monitors working. At work, the 4 monitors work no problem. I need help troubleshooting what is wrong with my home setup. Both sets of monitors are LG.

To start, I’d like to confirm a couple of details:

• Are you using the same Surface Pro at both work and home?

• Are both setups using the same UD-3900C4 docking station?

The UD-3900C4 uses a hybrid setup:

• HDMI 1 and 2 are driven by DisplayLink

• HDMI 3 and 4 rely on your system’s native graphics via MST

If your home setup is only working with two displays, it would be helpful to know which ports those displays are connected to.

If HDMI 3 and 4 are the ones not working, that would point toward MST-related behaviour, which can vary depending on the system and configuration.

To better understand what’s happening on your home setup, I’d like to review some system logs.
