My client has a wide screen dell monitor 1680x1050 Is the -165 the unit I should order?

Hi Grant,

Thanks for posting your question here! The Plugable UGA-165 does support 1680x1050 resolution.

In fact other than the Plugable UGA-125 which only supports resolutions upto 1280×1024 / 1440×900, all our other USB Graphics Adapters support 1680x1050 resolution.

So if your client is looking to connect to the Dell monitor only through VGA, the Plugable USB-VGA-165 would be the most economical one. If your client wants to connect through DVI then you should order the Plugable UGA-165 .
