1366 x 768 actually sending sending 1024 x 768

I set my resolution to 1366 x 768 however the monitor reports it as 1024 x 768 and ends up scaling. I am connected via vga from a Dell laptop docking station to uga-2k-a

Can you say what monitor make & model you’re using? And are connecting with HDMI? Or VGA or DVI?
