10-Port Hub not working with Windows XP

I recently purchased the 10-Port Hub with Power Adapter. I plugged the USB connector in one of the available ports on my computer running Windows XP. It says it found the hardware, but when I go into the device manager, it has an error message of “This device cannot start. (Code 10)” I tried disconnecting and reconnecting a few times, and nothing happens. How do I get this working?
