My Problem…
I just purchased a Plugable USB 3.0 7-Port HUB w/premium 5v 4a power supply…
1st issue: It came with an English power cable/plug… This was quickly rectified when then sent me the proper US cable/plug.
2nd issue: After plugging in 7 external hard drive to the hub and powered it up I got NOTHING… the light on the power supply is ON, NONE of the lights on the bub come one after booting the laptop. I have tested each HDD directly on the laptop and they all work fine. I change the port on the laptop that the Hub was plugged into… no difference…nothing.
I am very disappointed as I am back to plugging in each drive separately and of course there are only4 ports on the laptop.
Does anyone have any additional tests I can try? Or should I just return the unit as FAILED.
