Brand new ud-3000 arrived today. I installed displaylinc 7.1moexe. Windows recognized the device as new found the software.then reported USB Device not recognized.(USB Root 8 ports). I get no video and none of my USB devices (keyboard, mouse, speakers) work. (Windows xp HP mini 1101 netbook)

Thanks for posting your question here, we’d be glad to help! We’re not yet recommending DisplayLink Driver v7.1 based on some negative test results we’ve had in house. For Win XP I would recommend using v6.3 M1, you can follow the below steps to roll back to this version:

Run the DisplayLink Cleaner tool to completely uninstall existing DisplayLink Software:

Download v6.3 M1 from the below link and follow the installation prompts.

- Reboot the computer
Try connecting your dock again at this point and see if the behavior is any different. Let me know how it goes!
