i bought a new laptop but it is run on chrome os. i bought a plugable cable but when i try to transfer my data from windows to chrome os, it is not supported? any suggestions.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I’m sorry for the trouble here! With respect, our Transfer Cables are only compatible with Windows as we mention in our listings and product page, and cannot be used to transfer cross platform.
If this was a recent purchase from Amazon you may want to return it if you don’t have another use for the cable. Instead of the Transfer Cable, I’d suggest using some sort of drive like a flash drive, or external hard drive to transfer over files between systems. Again, sorry for the trouble!
