Windows 10 systems sounds not audible through Sonos Connect

Dell XPS 13 to Plugable Triple Display Dock to Sonos Connect (via optical) to Denon AVR (via analog cable). Sonos plays fine but laptop audio is not audible. I have confirmed that Plugable is the default audio source in the Windows 10 settings. Do you have any ideas?

Currently if I understand correctly you have everything setup as such:
Laptop --> Dock --> 1/8" to RCA analog cable --> Sonos Connect --> optical cable --> Denon?

If you bypass the Sonos Connect and just connect the laptop directly to the Denon, do you hear sounds through your Denon this way?

An even simpler test might be to just try some headphones connected to the dock and see if that works.
