Why can't I get 1900 x 1200 resolution?

Running USB 2.0 UGA on Intel 24" IMAC with a Samsung Syncmaster B2330. Should be able to get 1900 x 1200 resolution, but can’t get more than 1440 x 900 on OS X and in Windows XP Professional running on Boot Camp. Can someone help?

Thanks for posting.

The Samsung Syncmaster B2330’s native/max mode appears to is 1920 x 1080 – if that’s correct, the monitor won’t be able to do 1920x1200.

In terms of why the adapter is then backing down to a 1440x900 resolution, can you confirm which product you have? Does it have the Plugable logo on the front plastic, and what’s the model # on the back?
