I have two UGA-2K-A adapters and just bought a UD-3900 docking station. I used to use the UGA-2K-A adapters on another computer that was in a Dell dock without problem. Now the two UGA-2K-A monitors are not working with the new UD-3900. The monitors plugged into the dock work fine.
Hello John,
I am sorry to hear this. Do you see the green LEDs light up when the display adapters are attached to the docking station and monitor? Have you tried plugging the display adapters into all the USB ports (USB 2.0 and 3.0) and had the same results?
I can take a closer look via PlugDebug. Please head over to -> http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug. There you will find a download link as well as instructions. Please be sure to have the display adapters plugged into the docking stations and attached to the monitors when running this tool and attach the resulting zip file in the reply to this email addressed directly to support@plugable.com (this forum does not allow attachments other than pictures). Once we have the .zip file it generates, we will get a better idea of how to best proceed.
Kind regards,

I continued to work on this and determined that the monitors that were hooked up via VGA didn’t operate with the UGA-2K-A adapters while also using the UD-3900. I had them connected to my old dock with VGA because that is what it supported. As soon as I switched one UGA-2K-A to DVI and one UGA-2K-A to HDMI everything worked.
