Is there some way to measure distance in an image (perhaps with a grid overlay). This would come in handy for us when we are using the microscope to inspect the orifice diameters of bottle spouts used to dispense liquids. Typical orifice diameter is in the 1-2mm range. Thanks

Unfortunately the software does not provide this capability. In order to do this in software, the software would have to be calibrated every time the microscope magnification changed.
The best way we have found to measure objects is to use a simple slide micrometer or something similar. placed on or below the object being measured.
