I have a USB2-MICRO-200X plugged into a Mac Pro (Late 2013) running OS X Yosemite. I installed the software from the pluggable web site.
The software shows a black image. none of the controls on the camera seem to do anything other than the LED brightness wheel which works fine.
Ah, the software just crashed. Yay. I attempted to include the crash info here but it might be too long.

We haven’t updated the Mac version of the software for quite some time, which is why we don’t recommend using it with Mac at all. We like to give people the choice, but strongly recommend using Photo Booth since it has all the necessary features and is built-in, so less bug prone.
Could you give Photo Booth a try and see if you can get good output from the microscope with that? If not, I’d be happy to help further troubleshoot the issue.
