USB to RS232 seen as USB device and no COM port#

Hi. I have a crystalengineering USB to RS232 converter. The problem is my pc see it as a USB device. I don’t pick it up in the serial (COM &LPT). So no COM# to set up for communicating with the device. Please help. I have Windows 7
