USB to RS-232 DB9 Serial Adapter availability

The USB to RS-232 DB9 Serial Adapter (Prolific PL2303HX Chipset) is not currently available on Amazon and the message says there is no information about when it might be. Is this item still be produced and, if so, is there another vendor?
