USB Serial Adapter on Kubuntu?

I have bought your ‘USB Serial Converter’ and I would like to know if it will work on kubuntu? And if I need driver, would you mind telling me where to get it :slight_smile:

Thanks for posting with your question about the Plugable USB to Serial converter on Kubuntu, I’ll be happy to help.

Open source drivers are included in Linux kernels 2.6.11 and later. These have support for the Prolific 2303 chipset, and recognize the plug and play IDs of the Plugable adapter.
