USB-HUB-AG7 and Raspberry Pi

I just got a USB2-HUB-AG7 that I plan to use with my Raspberry Pi
Can I connect a wire from the hub to the Pi power in and another wire from the Pi USB port to the hub USB In or will that. Gauze problems for either of both devices
