USB-C triple docking station "Last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned"

Hello, Plugable.

Problem here.

  1. Running an HP Envy i7 with Windows 10 to drive a Dell U3415W curved screen.
  2. Works fine with direct hookup between laptop and monitor, so I know they’re both working fine.
  3. Want to use a Plugable USB-C triple docking station.
  4. Installed Plugable, got blue light
  5. Downloaded drivers
  6. Connected wires (power, HDMI, host)
  7. Getting message: “Last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned”
  8. Sent diagnostic zip file to you via email

Can you please assist? Thank you.

For anyone else having this issue - after communicating with Jeffrey via email we have discovered that our dock is not compatible with this model system.
