I am trying to hook up a Surface Book 2 and a desktop to a set of three LG 4k monitors
I recently purchased a USB-C 4K Triple Display Dock (for my home office) and a USBC-6950 DP for the two monitors at my work office.
At the home office I have a desktop connected to the DP ports on the monitors and was hoping to connect the Surface Book using the 4K Triple via DP to HDMI on the monitors.
Firing them up in Windows 10 the max resolution they will run is 2048 x 1152. If I hook them up DP to DP I get the expected 3480 x 2160. Does this mean I need to use something like the Active DP to HDMI adaptor if I want to connect the 4K triple to the HDMI ports on the monitors?
