USB 2.0 graphic adaport all of a sudden stopped working

Hi My plugable USB 2.0 graphic adaptor just all of a sudden stopped working. USB port tested, and monitors tested, switched out a different VGA cord on the adaptor. Nothing works… Computer is functioning as if the monitor is still active(cursor still goes out of adjacent screen) but no image is coming out. green light on adaptor is still on

Make sure your monitor is set to VGA for its display. I felt like a fool when I switched it and all of a sudden the display started working. Somehow, I had changed it to HDMI or something else at some point.
