I was trying to edit a video using openshot on a windows 10 laptop. The preview of the file had audio choppy. This did not happen when the laptop was connected directly.
I had the same experience when using an Android device video editing. Choppy audio only when using the hub.

Although I’m not sure of the exact setup you’re using, we cannot recommend using our USB based docking stations for video editing, gaming, etc.
If you find that you do not get good results when using our dock when doing your video editing, please use the internal laptop screen for those activities to see if you get better results.
