UD-3900. Connecting a second monitor DVI-I to HDMI

Is it possible to use an adapter DVI-I to HDMI for connecting a second monitor from the DVI-I port in UD-3900 to the HDMI input in the monitor?.

Hi Francisco,

Thanks for reaching out to us, I am happy to answer your question!

Yes, a DVI-to-HDMI cable or DVI-to-HDMI adapter can be connected to the DVI-I connection on the UD-3900 to connect to a HDMI monitor. To expand on this, HDMI is backwards compatible to single link DVI-D on both the host and destination sides of the connection ( computer and monitor ), and DVI-D is a subset of DVI-I. As long as the resolution of the monitor within the supported resolutions for this docking station there should be no problems.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
