I’ve downloaded internet program easy computer sync on both computers 2 times and still after connecting cords get “waiting for connection”.
Switched USB ports on both many times and nothing works. Help pls.

The most common place where things can go off-track is if accidentally choosing “Windows Easy Transfer” on one of the machines instead of “Easy Computer Sync”

It sounds like you’re being careful not to do that. If so, please email us at support@plugable.com and we’ll try to figure out if it could be a bad cable (very rare) or some other configuration issue between the machines. We’ll have to ask for a few details about the two machines to isolate down what it might be.

Hi, thanks so much for your help. I did get it transferring last night. Evidently I had a combination of wrong things - 1. didn’t know to close my spyware 2. one computer had the wrong program entered.
