screen resolution is all messed up. When I am inside applications they look somewhat norml. Things on the desktop are HUGE… yet I have the screen resolution set to 1920 x 1080, which is the smallest it will let me make it. With my screen this large it is almost unusable
Hi Mitch, thanks for posting and I will be happy to help! Based off of your description, it sounds like Windows may be scaling the image on your displays and that is causing the behavior. A common workaround to subvert this behavior would be to set the resolution of the internal display of your HP system to match (or be very close to) that of your external monitor connected to the adapter/dock (following this guide –>http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/49…), and then have Windows set the display scaling to 100% (following part 4 of this guide –> http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/21…) for your display. This should prevent Windows from scaling the content on the display and make things appear as desired.
