Problem with USB2 VGA display adapter

Hi

Ive just bought a USB 2 VGA display adapter. The box lights up but nothing can be seen on the interactive white board that it’s connected to.

It is hard to say what’s really going on, but I think this might boil down to an EDID (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extende…) issue where the interactive whiteboard does not have an active- or no EDID at all. I would have to ask for logs to take a closer look. I will follow up with a direct email.
