Plugable USB 3.0: Extended Desktop, but primary screen is blank

I have a windows surface pro, and have been using the Plugable USB 3.0 for the last year. With the most recent update to windows, I can’t display the 2nd screen only. No matter if I set it as a 2nd screen, Extended Screen or duplicate, it will not display the laptop’s screen. And in all these modes, the system acts as if I selected extended desktop. Except all the windows come up on the laptop’s dark screen. I found this out when I unplug the docking station. About 2 months ago, I lost the ability to project to just a 2nd screen & have been running duplicate screens. Now I can’t do that. I’ve tried unplugging the plugable unit, and also rebooting my laptop. What additional steps can I take to help get the system working again?

Thanks for getting in touch!

I’d like to pull logs from your system and see what’s going on, as this is pretty strange behavior.

Can you contact us at support@plugable.com so I can get those details?
