The green light is no longer on. I’ve tried using several different usb ports. Nothing seems to work. Please advise.
Hi Aaron,
Thanks for posting here! I’m sorry to know that you are having trouble with one of our Plugable USB 2.0 Graphics adapter. The green LED on the adapter does not light up when:
-
The unit does not receive enough power because it is plugged into a port that does not provide the required 500mA of power or because of a failing USB Cable
-
Display to that monitor is disabled
-
The driver is not installed or has gotten corrupted
-
The unit itself has failed.
Could you connect the adapter to the system, run the DisplayLink Support tool (instructions here: http://plugable.com/support/displayli…) and email the resulting .zip to support@plugable.com as an attachment along with your Amazon Order ID and a link to this thread? This would give us a better insight as to what is going on.
Once we analyze the .zip, we will figure out the steps to resolve the issue quickly.
Regards,
Roze
