Plugable USB 2.0 10-Port Hub - Having difficulty getting it working.

I purchase 2 Plugable USB 2.0 10-Port Hubs. I plugged them into the usb 2.0 ports on my computer however when I plug a device into the hub nothing happens. I confirmed the the usb 2.0 port is working.
When i plug the plugable hub into a standard port on my computer then it works.
When I plug a different usb 2.0 hub into the port it works.
Go figure!?
Any help is appreciated.

Just to confirm, the Plugable branded USB hubs don’t work with any USB port on your computer or just not with one of the ports on your computer?

Thank you for the quick response. I have 2 USB 2.0 ports on my computer and they don’t work when plugged in to them. They do work in the standard ports.
I have an older USB 2.0 hub that works when I plug it into the USB 2.0 ports.

This sounds like we are dealing with a corrupt USB.inf on your system. Are you running the 64bit or 32bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium?

64 bit version of Win7.

My apologies as well. Once you start talking “…corrupt USB.inf on your system.” you are over my head!
The USB 2.0 ports do work, but not when I plug the plugable hubs into them. Anything you can do to help would be great!

I will follow up with another direct email. We might be dealing with a corrupt USB driver on your system.
