Hi I have a a new ASUS VG278HE 27-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor 144hz 2ms running off HDMI and an Acer LCD AL19W A running off DVI and it keeps freezing only way to unfreeze is to unplug the usb to the plugable and plug back in. Happens 4 to 5 times a day. My laptop is a Intel® Pentium ® cpu N3530 @ 2.16Ghz 2.16 GHZ 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.
Hi Kristy,
Thanks for posting. I’ll be glad to assist.
We’ll want to have a look at some log files to get a better idea what’s causing the behavior you’re describing. We’ve got a troubleshooting tool called PlugDebug that will be helpful for gathering these logs.
At your convenience, if you could please head over to:
http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug
There you will find a download link as well as instructions. Please run the software going through the unplugging/replugging sequence you mention after the screen has frozen.
Please email the .zip file to support@plugable.com with “Ticket 83619” in the subject line. Once we have the .zip file it generates, we’ll see what the best approach will be.
Thanks!
Gary
