Not getting my full 1-gigabit speed with the pluggable unit UD-3900

I purchased the Plugable Dual Monitor Docking Station Model: UD-3900, connected via USB 3.0. When I use the NIC on the device I don’t get the full 1-gigabit speeds, so temporarily I have the CAT5 cable connected to my laptop.

Is there a fix for this?

In order to find the cause of the speed issues we will need to get some information from your system.

If you would, please keep the docking station connected to both the network and the computer, then email us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug ( http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug ) please check the box to “Allow PlugDebug to gather advanced network connection info” as this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps. Please send the email to support@plugable.com with the subject line “Ticket #217787 - Attention Pat” in the body of the email please note this is the PlugDebug with the network connected to the docking station.
