no slot in laptop for disc load

My Asus laptop does not have a disc player slot to load the Driver provided with the USB 3.0 Docking Station. I did load from the link provided in the email received after purchasing the docking station (http://plugable.com/drivers/displayli…). Will this be sufficient enough in running my two Asus monitors with my laptop?

Hello DenzL,

Thanks for reaching out to us on our forums! The DisplayLink drivers you obtained from our website (http://plugable.com/drivers/displayli…) are the drivers you’d need for the docking station. Assuming you have the Plugable USB 3.0 Universal Dual Display Docking Station (plugable.com/products/ud-3900), those drivers will be what you’d need for your computer and would allow you to use your two external Asus monitors.

If you run into any issues, please let us know and we’d be happy to assist you! It may be best to send an email to support@plugable.com, as we will likely need some log files and it’s generally easier to work over email when logs start getting involved.

Hope that information helps, and have a good day!

Regards,

Patrick
