no power

I just purchased the plugable superspeed usb 3.0 dual monitor docking station from amazon, it arrived today, i got everything ready, using the quick guide but upon hooking up the power - no power, it came with the power system that had you slide the power adapter prongs into the power adapter, long story short, i tried multiple plugs in the house and NO BLUE LIGHT. I will be returning it.
