No image displayed

I have the Digital Viewer installed, and the camera plugged in. The camera lights up and the program recognizes the camera is on. However I get no image on the viewer no matter what resolution I set the camera to.
Any suggestions?
I saw the debug program but this computer is protected from installs. Any thing to try first would be appreciated.

Thank your for your post! I’m sorry you are not getting an image from the microscope into the Digital Viewer software! I would like to help you troubleshoot and have some tips below.

  1. If the image you do see is black, please try increasing the LED intensity using the grey dial near the top of the device. If you do not see improvement, please try adjusting the grey focusing ring to see if we can get an image to come into focus.

  2. It sounds like the microscope is properly selected as it is lighting up, but can you please ensure that the microscope is selected in the Digital Viewer settings (cog wheel)? If you have a web cam or another camera, you can test that Digital Viewer is receiving an image for any device by choosing the other device.

  3. If you are still not getting an image, the PlugDebug program would really help troubleshoot this issue. The program does not install anything and simply runs as a standalone program. If you are unable to run it, that typically indicates a network or company policy that could be interfering with this device from being used in your environment.

If you can get the PlugDebug file generated, please send it to support@plugable.com with “Ticket #217893” in the subject line along with your results of these tips.
