my video card is DP 1.4 / tv-monitor is NEW HDMI 2.2.will this work at 4k 60hz

video card is geforce 1070 has 3 DP (at 1.4), 1 hdmi, 1 DVI

tv / monitor is Hisense 43H7C2 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD, at 60hz, but only with HDMI connections.

will this adapter let these 2 perform at their best ?

Hi John, thanks for posting and I’ll be happy to help! While your Hisense TV has HDMI 2.0 ports (while supporting the HDCP 2.2 standard), our adapter DP-HDMI adapter would be unable to support 4K@60Hz as it does not support HDMI 2.0. While a new revision of our adapter is planned with HDMI 2.0 compatibility, we do not have an ETA on when this will be available.

well truth be told I have a samsung 65" 4k with a gtx 1070, and the Rift and non of the connection work with the adaptor the tv or the rift. i’m forced to swapping out the tv with the rift. Very annoying
