multiport device MTP usb keeps popping up

all devices attached to this are functioning, but the “found new hardware” mtp device keeps popping up. Did a hide on the taskbar, allowed me to uninstall mtp device. other deivces still working. How come it won’t nstall as a usb, instead of showing as a portable device in the devicemanager of xpsp3?

Thanks for your post. Can you say more about which Plugable product you have? We don’t have any products that should be reporting as an MTP device, it’s usually changeable in the settings on the portable device itself.

Let me know what type of device you have and which Plugable product you are using and we’ll figure out next steps.
