monitor keeps binking/flickering with laptop, triple monitors

Update RESOLVED:

Turns out it was a monitor problem. It must have been a faulty monitor. I connected a different monitor to the adapter and now the triple monitor setup works perfectly.

what plug did you get and what windows?

im trying to use a surface pro 3 USB 3.0 to HDMI…and it flickers…im not super pissed i paid 10 for the fresco adapter but spent 499 on the flat screen…anyone using win 8.1 or a surface pro?
